Senior Value Engineer - Energy Industry
As a Senior Value Engineer specializing in the Energy Industry at Celonis, you will collaborate with strategic clients in utilities, oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors. Your role involves understanding their objectives, such as grid modernization and asset lifecycle management, and developing solutions using Celonis' Process Intelligence platform integrated with leading AI and ML technologies.
Key responsibilities include leading AI discovery and solutioning by identifying sector-specific challenges and translating them into innovative solutions. You will drive the full customer lifecycle, from pre-sales technical discovery and demonstrations to post-sales implementation, ensuring value realization and adoption. Additionally, you will prototype solutions during customer hackathons and support the shift from traditional automation to autonomous AI agents.
The ideal candidate has over five years of experience in technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements within the Energy sector, including defining AI roadmaps and guiding technical implementations. A deep understanding of energy industry business processes, expertise in generative AI techniques, proficiency in Python and ML libraries, and strong presentation skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a Master's in a related field.
