The Shift Supervisor at PLS plays a pivotal role in ensuring the store delivers exceptional customer service, meets operational objectives, and adheres to company policies. This position involves leading the team during assigned shifts and supporting the Assistant Store Manager in daily operations. PLS, a leading retail provider of financial services, operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient financial products to help customers manage their day-to-day financial needs.

Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and fostering a customer-centric culture within the store. The Shift Supervisor supports the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to achieve store goals, assists in developing and motivating team members, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and oversees transaction processing and cash handling procedures. Additional duties involve coaching Customer Service Representatives, reviewing and approving checks within set limits, supporting store marketing efforts, resolving customer complaints, managing schedules, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurants. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, the ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external customers, a desire to exceed corporate initiatives, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. A high-energy, collaborative management style, professional appearance, integrity, and flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are essential. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
