Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor at PLS is a leadership role responsible for ensuring the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets operating objectives, and adheres to company policies and procedures. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the Shift Supervisor directs the activities of all team members, maintaining a strong customer service culture within the store.
Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service, building relationships with customers, supporting the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals, and assisting in developing and motivating store team members. The role also involves ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, supervising transaction processing, managing cash handling procedures, and supporting store marketing efforts within the community.
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. The role requires the ability to engage with customers, develop positive relationships, and inspire excellence in a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a professional appearance and demeanor, and the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are essential. English fluency is required, and being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
