Shift Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor at PLS is a leadership role responsible for ensuring the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets operating objectives, and adheres to company policies and procedures. PLS, a leading retail provider of financial services, operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering consumers convenient financial products to manage their day-to-day needs.

Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and establishing a customer-focused culture within the store. The Shift Supervisor supports the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals, develops and motivates team members, ensures compliance with regulations, and supervises daily operations, including transaction processing and cash handling. Additional duties involve coaching Customer Service Representatives, reviewing and approving checks within set limits, supporting store marketing efforts, resolving customer complaints, managing schedules, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, the ability to develop positive relationships, a desire to exceed corporate initiatives, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a professional appearance and demeanor. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
