Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor at PLS is a leadership role responsible for ensuring the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets operational objectives, and adheres to company policies. This position involves overseeing daily store activities, supporting the Assistant Store Manager, and directing team members in the absence of senior management. PLS, headquartered in Chicago, operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, providing consumers with convenient financial products and services.
Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service, building strong customer relationships, and fostering a customer-centric culture within the store. The Shift Supervisor supports the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to achieve store goals, develops and motivates team members, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and handles tasks such as transaction processing, cash handling, and resolving customer complaints. Additional duties involve supporting store marketing efforts and maintaining a clean store environment.
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, the ability to develop positive relationships, a desire to exceed corporate initiatives, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor. Flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
