Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor at PLS is responsible for leading the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve operational goals. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the Assistant Store Manager in various tasks. PLS, headquartered in Chicago, operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, providing convenient financial products and services to help customers manage their day-to-day financial needs.
Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and fostering a customer-centric culture within the store. The Shift Supervisor supports the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store objectives, develops and motivates team members, ensures compliance with regulations, and handles transaction processing and cash management. Additional duties involve coaching Customer Service Representatives, reviewing and approving checks within limits, supporting store marketing efforts, resolving customer complaints, managing schedules, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, the ability to develop positive relationships, a desire to exceed corporate initiatives, excellent communication and presentation skills, high-energy collaborative management experience, and a professional appearance and demeanor. Honesty, integrity, and flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are essential. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
