Shift Supervisor
PLS is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our team at our Compton, CA location. As a leading retail provider of financial services, PLS operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient and transparent financial products to our customers. The Shift Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient store operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining exemplary customer service within the store, building strong relationships with customers, and fostering a customer-centric culture among team members. Key responsibilities include supporting the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals, developing and motivating store team members, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and supervising daily operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. Additionally, you will handle transaction processing, cash handling procedures, and assist in resolving customer complaints.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. Strong interpersonal skills, a desire to exceed corporate initiatives, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential. A professional appearance and demeanor, along with the ability to work flexible hours—including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays—are required. English fluency is mandatory, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
