Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor at PLS is responsible for leading the store team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve operational objectives. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the Assistant Store Manager in various tasks. PLS, a leading retail provider of financial services, operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient financial products to help customers manage their day-to-day financial needs.
Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and fostering a customer-centric culture within the store. The Shift Supervisor assists in implementing strategies to meet store goals, develops and motivates team members, ensures compliance with regulations, and performs duties such as transaction processing and cash handling. Additionally, this role involves coaching Customer Service Representatives, reviewing and approving checks within set limits, supporting store marketing efforts, resolving customer complaints, and managing schedules and store audits.
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries like hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurants. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, the ability to build positive relationships, a desire to exceed corporate initiatives, and excellent communication and presentation abilities. High-energy, collaborative management experience, professional appearance and demeanor, honesty, integrity, and flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are essential. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
