Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor at PLS is a pivotal role responsible for leading store operations to ensure exceptional customer service and achievement of financial objectives. This position involves overseeing daily activities, supporting the Assistant Store Manager, and, in their absence, directing the entire team to maintain seamless store functionality.
Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service standards, fostering strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business, and cultivating a customer-centric culture within the store. The Shift Supervisor assists in implementing strategies to meet store goals, develops and motivates team members to exceed expectations, and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations. Additionally, the role encompasses performing Customer Service Representative duties, supervising team activities, coaching staff on transaction procedures, approving checks within set limits, supporting community marketing efforts, resolving customer complaints, managing schedules, handling cash, and conducting store audits.
Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurants. The role requires a strong ability to engage with customers, develop positive relationships, and inspire team excellence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative management style, professional appearance, integrity, and flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are essential. Fluency in English is required, with bilingual abilities in English and Spanish considered a plus.
