Skybridge Material Driver

The Skybridge Material Driver at Axon is integral to ensuring the seamless movement of materials, equipment, and finished goods between company sites, vendors, and customers. This role supports the company's mission to protect life by maintaining efficient logistics operations that keep production and distribution processes running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include transporting materials on a regular schedule, performing safe loading and unloading procedures, verifying material quantities and documentation, maintaining accurate logs for all internal transfers, and conducting vehicle inspections. The driver will also coordinate with warehouse teams to prioritize transfers, support cross-functional teams with clear communication on delivery timelines, and assist with material staging or basic warehouse tasks.

Candidates should possess a valid driver's license, with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required, depending on vehicle type. Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or driving roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of safe loading and securing techniques, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and proficiency in operating material-handling equipment are essential. Additionally, strong communication and teamwork skills, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently are important.
