Peloton's Music Quality Engineering team is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to enhance the quality of our music applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to instill a culture of quality, mentor team members, and advocate for best testing practices. As an SDET, you will leverage advanced programming skills to develop automation testing tools and frameworks that support manual testing processes.

Key responsibilities include implementing test tools and frameworks to ensure confident releases, identifying and addressing test automation gaps, integrating testing into the software development lifecycle, coordinating testing efforts across teams to deliver high-quality features, promoting best practices in testing and maintainability, and participating in code reviews.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in both manual and automation testing, proficiency with code repositories such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence, experience working with cross-functional scrum teams, exceptional testing proficiency with expertise in both formal and informal testing techniques, the ability to independently accomplish complex engineering tasks, experience with automation frameworks like Karate API, Cypress, Playwright, or XCUITest, and familiarity with iOS device testing using tools like Appium or Swift.
