Software Engineer, Post Order Experience (Remote)
As a Software Engineer on the Post Order Experience team at ezCater, you will be instrumental in enhancing the customer journey after an order is placed. This team focuses on refining processes from order submission through fulfillment and post-delivery tasks, ensuring a seamless experience for users. ezCater is a leading food-for-work technology company in the U.S., connecting workplaces with over 100,000 restaurants nationwide.
In this role, you will develop and maintain products using technologies such as Next.js, React, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, and GraphQL. Your responsibilities include managing infrastructure to ensure application robustness and scalability, evolving existing products to meet client needs, and collaborating with data teams to transform complex models into user-friendly features. You will also decompose complex problems into elegant technical designs and work closely with fellow engineers to implement, test, and validate solutions.
The ideal candidate has full-stack expertise with proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Next.js, GraphQL, REST APIs, and TypeScript. A minimum of three years of development experience in a production codebase is required. Strong skills in SQL and a deep understanding of relational databases are essential. A product-focused mindset, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality documentation are also important. The role may require up to five days of travel per quarter for team gatherings and events.
The total target cash compensation for this position ranges from $125,200 to $148,000 annually, including base salary and bonus.
