Software Technical Account Manager II (Traveling)
As a Software Technical Account Manager II at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in deploying and supporting Axon's software solutions within law enforcement agencies. This position involves extensive travel, with up to 80% of your time spent on-site at agency locations across the United States. You will serve as the primary technical liaison, ensuring that Axon's products are effectively implemented and utilized to enhance public safety.
Your key responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, collaborating with deployment teams to design and implement software solutions, and responding promptly to critical technical challenges. Additionally, you will advocate for customer needs within Axon, influence product development, and guide agencies through change management processes to optimize software adoption. Providing advanced training and creating comprehensive documentation for agency staff will also be essential aspects of your role.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, along with at least four years of experience in technical account management or a similar customer-facing role. Demonstrated expertise in deploying SaaS solutions, configuring and troubleshooting complex software applications, and building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders is crucial. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, Splunk, JIRA, and Salesforce, as well as advanced knowledge of Windows OS, networking, cloud solutions, and data analytics, is highly desirable. The ability to pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and handle confidential information with discretion is mandatory.
