Software Technical Account Manager II (Traveling)
As a Software Technical Account Manager II at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in deploying and supporting our software solutions within law enforcement agencies. This position involves extensive travel, with up to 80% of your time spent on-site with clients across the United States. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing public safety through innovative technology solutions.
Your primary responsibilities will include acting as the main technical liaison for assigned agencies, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues with Axon's products and services. You will collaborate with deployment teams to design, configure, test, and implement Axon software solutions, ensuring successful rollouts. Additionally, you will respond quickly to critical technical issues, acting as a crisis manager to restore functionality and minimize impact on agency operations.
To excel in this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 4 years in a technical account management or similar customer-facing role, preferably within the public safety or software sectors, is required. Demonstrated experience in deploying SaaS solutions, including configuring, testing, and troubleshooting complex software applications, is essential. Strong skills in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and the use of tools like Splunk, JIRA, and Salesforce are also necessary.
