Software Technical Account Manager - Knoxville PD
As a Software Technical Account Manager at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in deploying and supporting our software solutions within the Knoxville Police Department. This position involves providing high-level technical support, managing complex deployments, and fostering strong customer relationships to ensure our technology enhances public safety effectively.
Key responsibilities include acting as the primary technical liaison for the Knoxville PD, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, collaborating with deployment teams to design, configure, test, and implement Axon software solutions, and responding promptly to critical technical issues to minimize operational impact. Additionally, you will advocate for customer needs within Axon, guide agencies through change management processes, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with over four years of experience in a technical account management or similar customer-facing role, preferably within the public safety or software sectors. Demonstrated expertise in deploying SaaS solutions, advanced knowledge of Windows OS, networking, cloud solutions, and experience with data management and reporting tools are essential. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, and flexibility to work onsite and outside normal business hours are also required.
