Solutions Architect, Fusus
The Solutions Architect role at Axon is a client-facing position within the Customer Enablement Team, focusing on delivering integrations that enhance public safety services. This role offers an opportunity to lead and mature professionally in a rapidly growing business environment, collaborating with clients and project teams to architect and implement solutions that provide meaningful value to public safety partners.
Key responsibilities include analyzing IT system architectures to scope technical projects and recommend system improvements, managing technical projects both remotely and on-site, and engaging with clients' technical and non-technical leadership to communicate project progress. The Solutions Architect will also work closely with account management teams to ensure customer needs are met, identify integration opportunities between agency systems and Axon's products, and recommend deployment plans that drive key outcomes for the agency.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, with 2+ years of experience in analyzing and developing technical systems and software solutions. Required skills include knowledge of API structures and systems integration (REST, SOAP), intermediate proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, and cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure), and networking experience in implementations and integrations, including LAN/WAN, security, IP Video, and Video Management Systems. An understanding of Linux frameworks, including containerization platforms like Docker, and familiarity with cloud technologies and software development packages are also essential.
