Solutions Architect (Germany or Austria)
Commvault is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their Professional Services team in Germany or Austria. This role involves leading the architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Commvault Software and SaaS solutions. The Solutions Architect will collaborate with global architects, engineering teams, and customer stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. This position offers the flexibility of remote work within Germany or Austria.
Key responsibilities include advising customers on data protection, cyber recovery, cloud transformation, compliance, and operational resilience strategies. The Solutions Architect will produce high-level and low-level solution designs, implementation plans, and technical documentation. They will also deliver complex global deployments, migrations, upgrades, and remediation projects, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across customer environments, and develop automation and operational improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Fluency in German (C2) and English (C1) is required. Proven advanced experience in designing and/or operating Commvault solutions in the enterprise is essential. Strong knowledge of enterprise data protection, cyber resilience, disaster recovery, and information management solutions is necessary. Experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), private cloud, virtualization, containers, and enterprise storage technologies is expected. A strong understanding of networking, Linux, Windows, databases, and Microsoft 365 workloads is also required. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills, along with outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, are essential. A willingness to travel is expected.
