The Solutions Consultant at SmartRecruiters serves as a trusted advisor to sales representatives, prospects, and customers, focusing on delivering solutions that enhance customer performance. This role is integral to the Account team, responsible for architecting compelling solutions that address key work management challenges, presenting a desired future state, and delivering a competitive advantage with measurable outcomes. The Solutions Consultant also acts as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, fostering strong partnerships both internally and externally, with a core focus on customer success.

Key responsibilities include leading and documenting discovery sessions to understand clients' business objectives and desired outcomes, becoming a trusted advisor and expert in the SmartRecruiters platform to client executives and technical decision-makers, and performing product demonstrations tailored to client needs. The role also involves acting as a resource for the Sales team on demonstrations, new feature benefits, script development, and other resources to assist in the advancement of demo skills and product implementation. Additionally, the Solutions Consultant is expected to continuously leverage internal learning and competitive intelligence, understand industry and department verticals, and develop client stories to convey the value of SmartRecruiters' solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales engineering or consulting, ideally in a SaaS environment. A solid understanding of prospect research, prospect needs discovery, outcome-based selling, and the ability to demonstrate value to prospects is essential. The role requires a proven track record of successful collaboration with various departments to inspire alignment and execution, strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills, and the ability to break down technical jargon into easy-to-understand language. Engaging presentation and interpersonal communication skills, technical aptitude with web technologies, and a passion for customer engagement, consultative sales, problem-solving, customer education, and support are also important. Fluency in English is required, with additional languages considered an advantage.
