Sr. Product Manager II, VR Device Management
As a Senior Product Manager II for VR Device Management at Axon, you will lead the development of scalable software systems that enable agencies to efficiently deploy, organize, and manage their virtual reality hardware fleets. This role is integral to ensuring that training programs are consistently ready and effective, aligning with Axon's mission to protect life through innovative technology solutions.
Your primary responsibilities will include defining and launching the Device and Fleet Management user interface within the VR Web App, creating a centralized platform for overseeing headsets and tablets. You will develop a customer-facing Content Management System to manage training modules across fleets and design an Agency Device Settings System to maintain preferences across users and devices. Collaborating closely with engineering, design, and operations teams, you will transform complex operational workflows into intuitive user experiences and establish key metrics to monitor fleet performance and reliability.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, game design, engineering, or a related field, along with over eight years of product management experience, including ownership of platform or enterprise-scale systems. A strong understanding of device lifecycle management, encompassing provisioning, configuration, updates, and telemetry, is essential. Additionally, the role requires the ability to translate complex workflows into clear software solutions, a data-driven mindset for setting and tracking key performance indicators, and strong collaboration skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams.
