Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer specializing in calibration to join our Rocket Motor Systems group in McHenry, Mississippi. This team is dedicated to designing, developing, and manufacturing next-generation solid rocket motors for defense and space applications. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and precision of our products through advanced metrology and calibration processes.

The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems, recommending measurement approaches, and managing a diverse set of calibrated assets within our modern factory. Key duties include monitoring and analyzing quality performance, inspecting materials and equipment to meet quality specifications, collaborating with operations and engineering teams to implement controls and improvements, investigating production issues, and developing corrective actions and solutions.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in quality, aerospace, or mechanical engineering, or have significant experience in quality engineering, metrology, and calibration. Required qualifications include experience in developing metrology solutions in a production environment, managing calibrated assets, developing Measurement Uncertainty Budgets for electrical and mechanical measurement systems, interpreting technical drawings, and applying GD&T principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. U.S. Person status is required, along with the ability to obtain a Federal Explosive License and a security clearance.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a technical field, experience conducting GR&R in an MSA environment, ISO 17025 experience with hands-on mechanical and electronic calibrations, proficiency with various metrology equipment, experience with Vision Measurement Systems, excellent project management skills, and experience in ammunitions and explosives environments or manufacturing settings.

The salary range for this position is $113,000 to $149,000 USD annually.
