Sr. Software Engineer II, Mobile
NinjaTrader is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II specializing in Flutter to join our Mobile Engineering Team. In this role, you will lead mobile architecture, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable, high-performance applications that provide a seamless cross-platform experience. Your primary responsibilities will include owning the lifecycle of features through testing, debugging, documenting, releasing, and monitoring. You'll participate in daily standups and team meetings to discuss tasks, contribute to the technical roadmap for mobile architecture, and engage in design reviews and performance optimization efforts across iOS and Android platforms. Implementing robust Flutter solutions following best practices, collaborating with Product and Design teams to enhance user experience, and improving observability and monitoring for product stability are key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will have over six years of professional software engineering experience, including at least two years of hands-on Flutter and Dart experience in production environments. A strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and design patterns such as BLoC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture is essential. Experience with testing strategies for Flutter applications, CI/CD automation for mobile delivery, RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and offline data handling is also required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming design principles, are necessary.
The salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $190,000.00 USD annually, with an additional annual target bonus of 12%.
