Sr. UX Designer
NinjaTrader is seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior UX/Product Designer to join our rapidly growing Product & Design organization. This role is critical in shaping the next generation of trading experiences across our award-winning trading platform. As part of a product-driven, agile organization, the designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing, to define, design, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
The Senior UX/Product Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive and elegant interfaces across desktop, web, and mobile platforms, adhering to industry best practices. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end design processes such as ideation, prototyping, high-fidelity mockups, and providing implementation support. The role also involves leveraging data, user research, and feedback loops to validate design decisions and continuously improve the user experience. Additionally, the designer will help evolve and maintain our internal design system, ensuring consistency and quality across platforms.
Candidates should have 3–5 years of UX and/or UI design experience in a SaaS environment, with strong proficiency in Figma and a robust portfolio showcasing polished product designs and design system usage. Expertise in UX fundamentals, including layout, spacing, hierarchy, prototyping, journey mapping, and conversion-focused flows, is essential. Experience with scalable design systems and component libraries, the ability to design, prototype, and iterate quickly in response to feedback, and strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills are also required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, cross-functional environment are important.
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $160,000 USD, with an annual target bonus of 10%, based on individual and company/team performance.
