Sr. UX Researcher

NinjaTrader is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to lead initiatives that bridge complex trading workflows with intuitive product design. As an industry-leading trading platform and futures broker, NinjaTrader empowers traders by providing cutting-edge products and services that enhance the trading journey. In this role, you will apply a variety of research methodologies to uncover user needs, validate solutions, and optimize the trading experience. Your insights will directly influence the design and development of NinjaTrader’s Futures Trading platform, ensuring it meets and exceeds the expectations of both expert and novice traders.

Key responsibilities include conducting generative research to explore trader behaviors and pain points, concept validation to refine ideas before development, and evaluative research to assess the effectiveness of design solutions. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to translate insights into user-centered solutions, develop personas and journey maps, and advocate for research-backed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of UX research experience in complex environments such as fintech, trading, or enterprise software. Expertise in a broad range of research methods, experience conducting usability studies, and the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights are essential. Strong collaboration skills and excellent communication abilities are also required.
