Staff Enterprise AI Engineer
Peloton is seeking a Staff Enterprise AI Engineer to lead the development of our Enterprise AI Platform. This pivotal role involves architecting and building the operating system that enables our Product, People, and Operations teams to deploy AI agents safely and at scale. As the founding engineer, you will establish the technical foundation, encompassing infrastructure, security, and orchestration, while guiding a team to execute this vision.
Key responsibilities include designing and building a scalable agentic orchestration platform using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph, ensuring AI agents integrate securely with internal APIs such as Workday, Snowflake, and SAP. You will address the state problem in AI by architecting memory stores like vector databases to persist context across user sessions. Additionally, you will enforce security by design, implementing identity propagation to ensure agents execute tasks using specific OAuth scopes, and developing data clean rooms and PII masking pipelines to protect sensitive data.
The ideal candidate brings over 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on MLOps, LLM orchestration, or large-scale distributed systems. Proficiency in production-grade Python and Go for platform services is essential. Experience deploying retrieval-augmented generation and agentic workflows in production, along with a strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, is required. A solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, RBAC, and zero-trust networking principles is also necessary.
Peloton offers a competitive base salary range of $193,550 to $237,750, along with annual equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
