Staff Full-Stack Tech Lead Manager, Air Dominance
Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Full-Stack Tech Lead Manager to join its Air Dominance & Strike team. This team is responsible for developing aerial and multi-domain robotic systems, including products like the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda air-breathing cruise missile. The role involves leading the development of mission autonomy systems and services deployed to customers, contributing to Anduril's mission of transforming military capabilities with advanced technology.
The successful candidate will lead a team of software engineers to deliver mission planning software, partnering with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints. Responsibilities include writing code to improve products, scaling mission capabilities to more customers, collaborating across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality, creating and analyzing metrics for debugging and monitoring, and traveling up to 25% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance. Required qualifications include 8+ years of experience using frontend languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, as well as working with a variety of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Rust, and Go. Experience as a tech lead or tech lead manager for teams of at least five engineers is essential. A degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience, is required. Experience working on frontend applications, preferably data-intensive or map-based systems, and building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis is also necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $220,000 to $292,000 USD, with highly competitive equity grants included in the majority of full-time offers.
