The Staff Software Engineer (Frontend) – Editing Collaboration role at Canva is a senior-level engineering position focused on building and enhancing the core editing and collaborative experience within Canva’s design ecosystem. You should bring a strong background in designing and implementing performant, reliable user interfaces, as well as expertise in managing complex state, real-time communication, and collaborative workflows. Demonstrated leadership in technical project delivery and mentoring other engineers is highly valued, and a deep understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling is expected.
