Staff Software Engineer, Portfolio Management (Valuations and Analytics)
Ridgeline is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Trading - Portfolio Management Team, focusing on Valuations and Analytics. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing complex, high-quality applications for our Trade Order Management solution. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies and AI tools, you will contribute to building an industry-defining platform from the ground up within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include applying trading domain knowledge and financial quantitative expertise to create solutions that integrate design, strategy, and engineering. You will be involved in the entire software development process, from requirements gathering and design reviews to implementation, as we expand asset class coverage across the platform. Additionally, you will shape and optimize a tech stack utilizing AWS back-end services to develop robust, scalable applications.
The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record in architecting and designing new products and technologies. Expertise in Java or Kotlin is essential, along with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. A strong motivation to explore and adopt new technologies, coupled with the ability to navigate complex codebases independently, is highly valued. Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities are also crucial for success in this role.
Ridgeline offers a competitive compensation package, with a typical starting salary range of $200,500 to $251,000.
