Staff Software Engineer, Post Trade
As a Staff Software Engineer on Ridgeline's Trading team, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality, complex applications for our Post-Trade solution. In this role, you will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and conducting design reviews to implementing new products. Your responsibilities will include contributing design expertise, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and influencing a developing tech stack that leverages modern front-end frameworks and cost-efficient AWS back-end services. Additionally, you will participate in creating developer-based automation to ensure scalable, high-quality applications that our customers can rely on.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field, along with over eight years of experience in software engineering, demonstrating a history of architecting and designing high-performance, high-availability systems. Proficiency in backend or full-stack development using Java or Kotlin is essential, as is experience with electronic trading, order management, asset management, or investment banking. A strong understanding of automated testing at all levels and experience in building cloud-native applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are also required.
Ridgeline offers a competitive compensation package, with a typical starting salary range of $174,500 to $205,000, and up to $220,000 in select locations.
