Staff Test Engineer
As a Staff Test Engineer at NinjaTrader, you will serve as a technical leader and quality advocate, driving testing strategies across complex, scalable systems within multiple engineering squads. In this role, you will define and maintain end-to-end test strategies across client and server platforms, acting as the subject matter expert for quality across multiple products and teams. You will design and guide the implementation of automation frameworks and test architectures, ensuring scalability and maintainability. Collaborating closely with developers, you will ensure automation-friendly application design and establish performance and non-functional testing benchmarks to drive continuous improvement across releases.
The ideal candidate will have over 9 years of experience in QA or software testing roles, with proven expertise in both manual and automated testing for complex distributed systems. Experience in designing automation strategies and frameworks for scalable applications, strong skills in API testing, integration testing, and cross-platform validation are essential. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines, along with the ability to guide teams in troubleshooting application, database, and cloud issues, is also required.
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000 annually, with an additional annual target bonus of 15%.
