The Store Manager at PLS is responsible for leading the store to deliver outstanding customer service, achieve financial goals, and adhere to company policies and procedures. This role involves managing a team of employees, ensuring they are motivated and well-trained, and developing qualified team members to fill open positions. PLS is a leading retail provider of financial services, operating over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient financial products to help customers manage their day-to-day financial needs.

Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service within the store, building relationships with customers to encourage repeat business, and establishing a strong customer service culture. The Store Manager implements strategies to meet store goals and objectives, recruits and develops store team members, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, analyzes financial statements to maximize sales, supervises team activities such as transaction processing and cash handling, and markets within the community to increase market share and store revenues. Additionally, the role involves resolving customer complaints, controlling labor hours and store audits, and maintaining a clean store environment.

The position requires a minimum of two years of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. Candidates should have the ability and willingness to engage with customers, develop positive relationships with customers and colleagues, and a strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high-energy collaborative leadership expertise, and a professional appearance and demeanor are essential. Honesty and integrity are also critical for this role. English fluency is required, and being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
