As a Strategic Account Executive at Axon, you will be responsible for selling Axon's products and services to large and complex law enforcement and public safety agencies. This role involves managing and growing revenue and market share within designated agencies to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve Axon's strategic objectives. You will engage in significant complex sales opportunities, often of 7- and 8-digit value, requiring exceptional relationship-building skills at both operational and executive levels.

Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing account strategies by collaborating with account teams to deliver strong, relevant value propositions. You will cultivate customer relationships, ensure effective service delivery, and focus on customer satisfaction by understanding their business and workflows. Additionally, you will oversee all account activities, provide product information and training as necessary, and be accountable for individual expense budget management.

The ideal candidate will have extensive demonstrable experience in software sales, particularly in SaaS or cloud solutions, and possess relationship and consultative selling skills. You should be able to articulate complex solution offerings clearly and directly, have experience with data management using CRM systems like Salesforce, and understand virtualization and cloud technologies. Being a team player, ready to own and drive the territory, and having startup or vertical experience are also valuable. Experience in law enforcement or public safety is a plus.
