Strategic Account Executive / Client Partner - Manufacturing
Celonis is seeking a Strategic Account Executive / Client Partner to join our Strategic Manufacturing & Logistics Account Team, focusing on the largest manufacturing and logistics enterprises globally. This role involves applying a consultative sales approach to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, driving new business opportunities within existing strategic manufacturing accounts. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to understand client needs and manage the end-to-end sales cycle.
Key responsibilities include managing existing customer accounts with a land-and-expand strategy, engaging with stakeholders across various business lines at the C-level and below, and representing the full suite of Celonis solutions, particularly in Finance and Supply Chain. The role also entails achieving individual revenue targets by closing six- to seven-figure deals, closely collaborating with partners such as consulting firms and SaaS vendors, and orchestrating virtual teams—including business development representatives, marketing managers, partner managers, sales engineers, customer success managers, professional services, and implementation partners—to drive complex sales cycles.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in management or business process consulting, ideally complemented by experience in SaaS sales, in-house consulting, or similar areas. Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders and effectively engage at the C-level (e.g., CFO, CPO, COO) is essential. A strong business acumen and deep understanding of key processes and KPIs throughout the entire enterprise value chain in the automotive or manufacturing industry, particularly within Finance and Supply Chain, are required. Fluency in German and English, strong communication and presentation skills, adaptability to a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and a collaborative, inclusive mindset are also necessary.
