The Strategic Account Manager will oversee relationships with Square's largest Food and Beverage sellers, focusing on account growth, solution implementation, and client service. This role involves collaborating with business owners and executives to address complex business needs through Square's ecosystem, while advocating for sellers within product teams.

Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of 50 strategic Food & Beverage sellers, identifying opportunities for revenue growth through use-case expansion and cross-selling, and providing customized onboarding experiences. The role also entails serving as the voice of upmarket sellers to product teams, acting as a consultant to high-value restaurant clients, and leading the execution of technical solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Candidates should have over 5 years of relevant account management experience, a proven track record of exceeding sales or customer success metrics, and strong discovery skills rooted in genuine curiosity about clients' businesses. Experience in managing multiple projects with engineering, product, and finance teams, as well as expertise in contract and pricing negotiations with senior stakeholders, is essential. Excellent communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities are also required.
