Anduril Industries is seeking a Strategic Finance professional to join their Product Development team in Costa Mesa, California. This role involves conducting financial analyses that support major research and development initiatives, as well as existing products and business lines. The successful candidate will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to translate engineering challenges into quantitative financial solutions, contributing to the company's mission of transforming defense capabilities through advanced technology.
Key responsibilities include managing projects from definition through implementation, executing rapid analyses to provide quick insights, and developing scalable financial models for long-term success. The role requires effective project management across multiple stakeholders, including Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing. Additionally, the candidate will build profit and loss models for various products and business lines, create financial frameworks for operational decisions, and establish transparency into material costs to support cost reduction strategies.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering finance, or a finance role within a high-growth hardware company. A strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts, coupled with analytical aptitude and proficiency in Excel, is essential. The role also requires the ability to quantify complex, ambiguous problems and a willingness to learn corporate systems such as Salesforce, Coupa, and Anaplan. Effective communication skills are necessary, as the position involves interactions with large groups and senior leadership. Candidates must be U.S. Persons due to access requirements for export-controlled information.
The position offers a salary range of $129,000 to $171,000, with actual compensation dependent on factors such as experience and skills. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the compensation package.
