Strategic Growth Manager
The Strategic Growth Manager at Compass plays a pivotal role in expanding the company's market presence by recruiting top-producing real estate agents. This position is fully onsite, based in one of Compass's 18 offices in the Chicagoland area, with significant time spent meeting clients and prospects in the field. Compass, founded in 2012, is revolutionizing the real estate industry with its end-to-end platform that empowers agents to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Key responsibilities include driving net-new revenue by effectively selling the Compass value proposition, which encompasses technology, marketing, culture, and growth opportunities. The role involves influencing top agents to leave their current brokerages and join Compass, leveraging direct interactions with decision-makers to facilitate swift and effective recruitment. Meeting quarterly quotas is essential, with success measured by the Gross Commission Income (GCI) brought to Compass, reflecting the prior 12 months' performance of recruited agents or teams.
Candidates should possess a B.A. or B.S. degree with over five years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to solve complex problems independently are crucial. Excellent communication skills for leading client meetings and presentations, along with exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple deadlines, are also required. A proven track record of excellence across strategic, operational, and detail-oriented responsibilities is essential.
The base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 annually, with a potential bonus target of $30,000 to $60,000, and additional performance-based incentives. Restricted stock units may be included in the compensation package, along with a comprehensive range of benefits. Base pay is determined by market location, ensuring compliance with minimum wage requirements.
