Strategic Growth Manager
The Strategic Growth Manager at Compass plays a pivotal role in expanding the company's market presence by recruiting top-producing real estate agents. This fully onsite position is based in San Diego, with a significant portion of time dedicated to fieldwork, meeting clients and prospects. Compass, founded in 2012, is revolutionizing the real estate industry with its end-to-end platform that empowers agents to deliver exceptional service to clients.
Key responsibilities include effectively selling the Compass value proposition—encompassing technology, marketing, culture, and growth—to persuade leading agents to transition from their current brokerages. The role involves direct engagement with decision-makers, facilitating swift and personalized sales processes. Success is measured by the number of principal agents brought to Compass, with deal sizes ranging from $200,000 to over $3 million and an average closing time of about 30 days.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to solve complex problems independently are essential. Excellent communication skills for leading client meetings and presentations, as well as exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple deadlines, are also required.
The base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 annually, with a potential bonus target of $30,000 to $60,000 and additional performance-based incentives. Restricted stock units may be included in the compensation package, along with a comprehensive range of benefits.
