Strategic Growth Partner
The Strategic Growth Partner (SGP) at Compass plays a pivotal role in expanding the company's market presence by generating new business opportunities. As a key member of the Strategic Growth team, the SGP collaborates closely with Compass agents to identify and engage prospective agents who would benefit from Compass's innovative platform. This position is based fully on-site in the Houston office.
In this role, the SGP is responsible for building a robust sales pipeline through both inbound and outbound efforts. This includes direct outreach to potential agents via cold calls, emails, and integrated marketing campaigns. The SGP articulates Compass's value proposition, handles objections, and creates qualified opportunities within the market. Additionally, the SGP works closely with Strategic Growth Managers and Team Leaders to develop effective prospecting strategies and maintains meticulous records of all activities within the CRM system.
Candidates for this position should possess a bachelor's degree and have at least two years of relevant experience, such as in sales development, customer success, direct sales, or account management. Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills are essential, along with a proactive, self-starter attitude and the ability to solve complex problems independently. Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a proven track record of excellence in strategic and operational responsibilities are also required.
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with potential bonuses and restricted stock units as part of the package.
