The Strategic Growth Partner (SGP) at Compass plays a pivotal role within the Strategic Growth team, which serves as the company's primary driver for market expansion. This position is fully on-site at the New York City (Union Square) office. The SGP is responsible for educating the Compass Agent Community on the benefits and importance of contributing to the company's strategic growth. By partnering with Compass agents, the SGP identifies prospective agents within their networks and facilitates introductions to Strategic Growth Managers, who then present the Compass value proposition encompassing technology, marketing, culture, and growth.

Key responsibilities include generating new business opportunities to build the sales pipeline through both inbound and outbound efforts. This involves direct outreach to prospective agents via cold calls, texts, emails, integrated marketing campaigns, and LinkedIn campaigns. The SGP articulates Compass's value proposition, handles objections to create qualified opportunities, and collaborates closely with Strategic Growth Managers and Team Leaders to develop successful prospecting strategies. Maintaining flawless data management within the CRM, driving active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications, and analyzing addressable markets in emerging geographies to create demand for disruptive technology are also essential duties.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant experience, demonstrating a history of strong performance in roles such as Sales Development Representative, Customer Success/Service, Direct Sales, or Account Management. Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills, a positive attitude, and natural leadership qualities are essential. The role requires a self-starter attitude, the ability to exercise judgment and solve complex problems without direct supervision, and comfort with ambiguity. Excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively lead client meetings and presentations, high organizational skills, and the capacity to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously are also required. A track record of excellence across strategic, operational, and detail-oriented responsibilities is highly valued.

The base pay range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with potential variations depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a comprehensive range of benefits. These benefits include participation in incentive programs, paid vacation, holidays, sick time, parental leave, and recharge leave; medical, tele-health, dental, and vision benefits; a 401(k) plan; flexible spending accounts (FSAs); a commuter program; life and disability insurance; and additional perks such as Maven (a support system for new parents), Carrot (fertility benefits), UrbanSitter (caregiver referral network), Employee Assistance Program, and pet insurance.

Compass fosters a collaborative and energetic culture grounded in its Entrepreneurship Principles and a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, growth, and mobility. The company offers competitive compensation packages, robust benefits, and professional growth opportunities aimed at enhancing employees' lives and careers. Joining Compass means becoming part of a team dedicated to revolutionizing the real estate industry and helping everyone find their place in the world.
