Systems Engineering Lab Manager
The Systems Engineering Lab Manager at Echodyne Corp is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Systems Engineering Lab, ensuring all assets and equipment are maintained, tracked, and ready for use. This role is integral to supporting system-level testing and field activities, contributing to the development of Echodyne's advanced radar technologies.
Key responsibilities include managing all systems engineering assets, implementing a clear check-in and check-out system, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating logistics for asset movement. The Lab Manager ensures that all equipment is powered, fueled, and test-ready, schedules preventative maintenance, coordinates repairs, and maintains comprehensive maintenance records. Additionally, the role involves overseeing lab operations, ensuring equipment functionality, calibration, and maintaining a safe and organized lab environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing engineering labs or technical assets, strong skills in asset tracking and inventory management, and practical knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting lab equipment. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, along with five or more years of experience in lab operations or asset management, is required. Preference is given to candidates with experience managing Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) programs, including safety training and certification management.
