Technical Implementation Engineer, Prepared by Axon

Axon is seeking a Technical Implementation Engineer to join the Prepared by Axon team, focusing on enhancing emergency communications through AI-powered solutions. This role involves working closely with public safety agencies to deploy and integrate Axon's technologies, aiming to improve response times and operational efficiency in 911 centers nationwide.

The Technical Implementation Engineer will lead both on-site and remote deployments of Axon's solutions, including hardware setup and system integrations. Responsibilities include serving as the primary technical contact during customer onboarding, configuring proprietary hardware, assisting with system integration, providing Tier 2 technical support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine implementation processes.

Candidates should have over five years of experience with public safety systems such as 911 call handling, CAD, radio consoles, and logging recorders. Experience in technical field services or implementation roles with a strong customer-facing component is essential. The role requires the ability to travel up to 50% for on-site deployments, autonomy in project management, and effective collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Axon offers a competitive salary, with base pay ranging from $111,600 to $148,800, depending on geographic location and experience.
