Technical Project Manager IV
The Technical Project Manager IV at itD Tech leads cross-functional teams in delivering augmented reality (AR) hardware prototypes, user studies, and innovative user experiences. This role is pivotal in driving complex technical projects from conception through post-launch, ensuring quality, adherence to timelines, and alignment with strategic objectives. The position is based onsite in Redmond, Washington, with a duration of 12 months.
Key responsibilities include leading teams to deliver AR hardware vehicles and user studies, collaborating with technical teams to build and enhance prototyping platforms, and setting up, maintaining, and presenting prototypes to various audiences. The role also involves monitoring project statuses to ensure timelines are met, communicating analyses, providing actionable feedback to partners, and overseeing user experience implementation from product conception to launch, including post-launch support. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager IV contributes to strategic decisions alongside Design, Product, and Executive teams.
Required qualifications encompass 6–8 years of experience in technical project management, strong risk management and risk tracking abilities, and high-level team planning, coordination, and communication skills. The candidate should be highly motivated and able to work independently, with experience in real-time 3D development, AR/VR, and game development. Creativity, problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential. Experience using computers for layouts and generating new images, along with expert problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience with project management tools and a technical background in electrical or systems engineering.
