Trading Operations Associate
NinjaTrader is seeking a Trading Operations Associate to join its dynamic Trade Desk, Operations, and Risk Management teams. This role involves providing trade-related assistance to brokerage customers through timely email and phone communication. NinjaTrader is an industry-leading trading platform and futures broker dedicated to empowering traders with cutting-edge products and services.
The Trading Operations Associate will oversee and manage customer trading activity, including special bookings, allocations, FX trades, and other daily operational tasks. Responsibilities include performing key back-office functions such as trade allocations, treasury processing, and trading platform setup. The role also involves monitoring and resolving trade breaks, processing commission discrepancies and adjustments, and completing end-of-day checks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Risk Management, Account Management, Finance, and Customer Support, is essential.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field (preferred) and possess strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot client-side software and computer issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with comfort in learning and working with proprietary trading software. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Flexibility to work mid or overnight shifts, including holidays, is necessary.
The salary for this role ranges from $40,000 to $60,000 USD, with an additional annual target bonus of 6%. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan with a company match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. The annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year, plus seven paid holidays.
