Workday Integration & Automation Sr. Engineer
Celonis is seeking a Senior Automation & Integration Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain. In this role, you will act as the "Automation Engine," directly impacting company efficiency and scalability by orchestrating end-to-end technical solutions. You will be responsible for connecting, transforming, and managing data flows across our entire systems stack through AI-driven automation.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing robust, scalable AI automation workflows using Make as the primary integration platform to connect core business systems, with a particular focus on Workday as our primary ERP. You will take full ownership of technical solutions, managing data flows, transformations, and database manipulation to ensure seamless integration between tools, including Workday Finance and Workday HCM. Additionally, you will proactively explore, evaluate, and implement AI applications to boost our solutions and drive operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience building production-grade automation workflows with tools like Make, n8n, Zapier, or Power Automate. Solid hands-on experience across Workday Finance and/or HCM is essential, including practical experience building or maintaining integrations using EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, PECI/PICOF, or the Workday REST/SOAP APIs. Demonstrable experience designing and deploying AI-powered workflows, including LLM-based agents, to solve real business problems is also required.
